“Soldiers Died For My Freedom?”
How will you use your freedom for good?
I invite Americans from every walk of life to share their personal pledges describing how they will use their freedom for good.
I feel a calling to inspire and unite Americans with the message that since soldiers sacrificed their lives for our freedom, we should honor that sacrifice by using our freedom to serve our neighbors, our community, and our country. I have found that a life of service leads to a happier and more meaningful life.
Imagine how much better our country would be if all Americans experienced the blessings of living lives of service.
Make Your Freedom Pledge: Commit to use your freedom for good. Be specific about how you will use your freedom to live a life of service. Your pledge may inspire others to use their freedom for good as well.
Here are a few examples of pledges to get you thinking:
“I pledge to use my freedom for good by dedicating two hours each month to helping my elderly neighbors …”
“I pledge to use my freedom for good by volunteering in my community at …”
“I pledge to use my freedom for good by making healthier choices to help reduce America’s healthcare costs.”
“I pledge to use my freedom for good by becoming a better listener and peacemaker within my family and community.”
“I pledge to use my freedom for good by donating blood to help save lives.”
I encourage you to make a pledge you genuinely intend to keep. There is no pledge too small. Whether your commitment is to serve your family, your neighborhood, your community, or your country, every act of service matters.
Email your pledge and your state of residence to wainwatkins@gmail.com using the subject line “My Freedom Pledge.”
